You may be eligible
for treatment under the WTC Health Effects Treatment Program if you worked or volunteered providing rescue, recovery, cleanup, or restoration
of services after the 9/11 attacks.
Funded by a variety of philanthropic sources, the
Health Effects Treatment Program is designed to provide diagnostic and ongoing medical treatment services for WTC-related medical conditions.
Our physicians are specifically trained in the identification and treatment of work-related illnesses.
How Can The
Health Effects Treatment Program Help?
The Health Effects
Treatment Program is specially designed for workers and volunteers who have health problems caused or aggravated by their participation in WTC-related efforts. We treat
a range of physical and mental health problems, including:
- WTC-related sinus and breathing difficulties
- WTC-related throat irritation
- WTC-related feelings of sadness or depression
- WTC-related feelings of nervousness or anxiety
How Much Do These Services Cost?
There are no out-of-pocket charges for services provided
under this program. If you need outside testing or referrals that cannot be conducted at the clinic, the
Health Effects Treatment Program staff will work with you to try to arrange for payment by private health insurance, Workers’ Compensation, or other sources.
